The Commission approved the expansion of grade levels at Mobile’s ACCEL Day and Evening Academy to include sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. The school currently enrolls 300 ninth-grade through 12th-grade students. It opened at the start of the 2017-18 school year with a focus on students at-risk of dropping out before graduation.
